i pressed the details button when the error message came up and it said:

KME caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff7d3b1.

at the top it says the invalid file is kernel32.dll so i did a search on my comp to try and find it and it didn't come up with anything, so would it mean it crashes because i dont have it?

The Krossfire Mission editor is known for crashing. After I tried it like 4 times I gave up on it.

you need WindowsME for success in the editor... it still crashes, but not near as often as with 95/98/2k/XP

im not saying erase your hard drive and load up ME or anything cause ME is probly MS's most unstable OS so far besides 98 first edition, but if you're really wanting to map for KKND consider installing it on a second hard drive or something.. well if you've feel like buying it or trying to find it on ebay

ahhhh, ME it brings back such fuzzily warm memories......
I think MS took Windows 2000, hastily ripped out its delicate networking innards, and filled in all the wounds with the fruity colors and the extra crap nobody needs like windows movie maker, then slapped Millennium Edition on the end of it..... hehe ... those silly programmers... they have too much time on their hands....
Oh boy, I can't wait till Windows.NET-Automated Ass-Wiper Edition comes out, boy do we live in an age of technology!

First of all, your KKND2 site is so cool .
I've found there most of the nowadays unfindable stuff I need to enjoy longer my
KKND2 version.

There are 2 UNLOADABLE Maps in the MISSION section (Treble Trouble and Camp
Instruction).
Whatever, I've downloaded them .

But the KKND2 Mission Editor (KME ) version I've downloaded from there has some
problems :
- first, the MSVCP50.DLL is missing but I've loaded it from a Utilities CD.
- worst when I launch the KME, when I click on the Tile Tab it CRASHES !
Of course I've clicked on this tab after creating a Blank Map.
I think this is due to a lack of Tiles, this ones seem to be absent from the KME
packed file.
- strange thing, the presence of an UNINST.ISU file in the KME packed file.
This would mean the KME files within come from a SETUP or INSTALL file and I
don't see it anywhere.

Thank you to take me out of this crap wihtout having to use the Win ME solution !

Krush Kill 'n' Destroy ... but virtualy that would kill no one (hehe)
